::: STUDY Stuff :::

There are two different types of tundra: artic and alpine
  • The ALPINE TUNDRA  is found at high elevations, such as the Himalayas and Kilimanjaro.
  • The ARTIC TUNDRA  is found at high latitudes, such as Alaska and Russia.
Tundra regions can be found in the extreme northern latitudes of the globe.
Plants and animals in the tundra are able to survive the harsh cold temperatures.
