The Zebra is a member of the horse family. They are found only in Africa. No two zebras have exactly the same markings, the stripes are individual to each and help them hide among the grasses. They have a very keen sense of hearing that helps them detect predators from far away.

Animals are able to hide among the bushes and tall grasses, since there are no trees.

Many animals can be seen only during the rainy season.

Most animals travel in herds when searching for food to protect their young.

Because of constant immigration and emigration, the population continually changes.
